Equine Vision

Horses have excellent vision and due to the lateral placing of their large eyes, the horse is equipped with nearly a full circle of horizontal vision, although the acuity towards the rear is not as good and objects appearing towards the rear will be noticed by the horse, but are difficult to identify without turning its head.

Binocular Vision
Horses have binocular vision in front of them
